Over the Halfway Mark!

Yeah! We are over the half way mark. We are a few dollars short of being at 53% of our support. We are so excited. We had a very busy April as we traveled to Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and Michigan. We were in missions conferences and a round robin conference. It was a great blessing as churches were very interested in our presentations. There were many decisions made, and last Sunday two children accepted the Lord as their Saviour. We are sooooo Excited! Praying the Lord will continue to bless as we head out for Virginia and Flordia this next month.

Excitement in the air!

We are excited, we just found out three churches have taken us on for support. This brings us up to 46% of our support, and this Sunday another church will be voting on taking us on for support. If they take us on for support we will be at 48%. We have set a new goal for leaving for Japan. We hope to be leaving in the Spring of 2011. Please pray with us that the Lord will work through us these next few months, and churches will see our burden and will take us on for support quickly so we can get back to Japan. There is so much work in Japan that needs to be done, and our hearts are burdened to be there.

On the Road Again.

We are back in the States again. We had a wonderful time in Japan. We were able to lead one lady to the Lord and plant many seeds. Mrs. Koiro received the Lord as Her Saviour the Sunday after we left. We are so excited about all God is doing in Japan. Our hearts hurt to leave the work God has called us to. We can hardly wait until the day when we have our support and can go to Japan fulltime. Michael and Abigail learned some Japanese on this trip. Abigail left Japan bowing to people and when asked questions she would often bow to people. It was very cute.
We hit the road hard when we got back to the States and traveled to TN the first Sunday, WV this Sunday and will be in Indiana next Sunday. We currently are waiting for a couple of churches to let us know how much they will be supporting us, so we are not sure what our support level is at this time. Please pray that our support will come in quickly now. We have set a new goal that we would like to be back in Japan by spring of 2011. So much to do in a little amount of time, but know God is working. We were able to witness to a little girl tonight, and she said she would pray to Jesus to be saved tonight alone. We pray little Sarah accepted Jesus as her Saviour. W ether in Japan or America God is working and we praise Him as He leads us each step of the way.

We are in Japan!

Yes, we are in Japan for a month and a half on a survey/ deputation trip. We had a great Sunday this past Sunday, and April almost got to lead a lady, Mrs. Oiro, to the Lord. Please pray for her as she is very close, but just needs to understand a little more. She started coming to church a couple of weeks ago, and her and her husband had never seen a Bible or heard of Jesus before. They are loving coming to church and we are praying they will get saved soon.
It is great to be in Japan, the land God has called us too. We will be here from Dec 2nd to Jan. 15th. Then we will return to the States for deputation. Please pray as Michael continues to call for meetings next year. We would like to have a full schedule and get out to Japan by Spring of 2011. Thank you for all your prayers.

A Busy Fall.

We have had a very busy month and a half. Since the middle of September we have traveled over 8,000 miles to 18 different churches. We were involved in 8 missions conferences and saw many decisions made. We were able to lead one girl to the Lord, which made all of the traveling worth while. We are at 42% of our support now, and have a couple of churches that may take us on at the beginnning of next year. We are praying that we will be at 50% very soon. Abigail is a great blessing to us as we travel to churches. Many people come up and talk to us because of her. We are so thankful she is such a great traveler. She is such a blessing from our Lord. We are excited as we begin to prepare to go to Japan on a survey trip this December. We will be leaving for Japan on December 2 and will return to the States on January 15th. We will be visiting 4 churhces and will be participating in a Christmas concert. Please pray that we will get to lead some Japanese to the Lord while we are in Japan. When we return from Japan we will be continuing our deputation. Please pray Michael can book many meetings for next year. Thank you everyone who prayed for our safety these last months. God truly watched over us, and we did not have one break down or difficulty in our many miles of travel.

A Busy Fall

We are keeping very busy this fall with many meetings. We have traveled over 3,000 miles this past month and will be traveling many more miles before the year is up. We have had some good meetings and got to lead a little girl to the Lord recently. It was very encouraging and worth every mile we have gone. Support is coming in slow but sure. We are at 38% of our support. Have had some churches say they will be taking us on recently, but have not voted yet. Please pray for us as we have many miles to drive, and so that our support will be over 50% by Christmas. Abigail is growing up before our eyes. Her favorite thing to do now is to color. Her newest word is "water". She loves to sing the BIBLE. She is our little missionary. :-) We are so thankful for her.
We will be in Fl, Tn, In, Ky, Ks, Nc,and Sc the next couple of months. Praying that God will bring in our support quickly as we visit many churches.

A Wonderful week of meetings.

Abigail has been a great help to us on deputation. She waves at everybody. She loves reaching her hands out to everybody and she is our little missionary. She catches people's attention very quickly. She made many friends this last week at Family week with World Wide New Testament Baptist Mission.
This last week of meetings with World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions was wonderful. We feel so refreshed as we heard many wonderful messages and beautiful music. We are so blessed to be a part of our mission. The stand they take is doctrinally sound and they are extremely local church minded. So thankful for their approach to missions. We also were able to visit another missions conference, pastor's fellowship, and two different meetings on Sunday. The week started in North Carolina and ended with a meeting in Virginia. The church in Virginia took us on for support right after we shared our burden for Japan. We were so excited. April could not help but cry for joy. The last couple of weeks we have had 3 churches take us on, and we are at 37% of our support now.
Please keep praying that our support will come in quickly so we can get to Japan soon so Michael can start language school and so we can help Pastor and Mrs. Rich with Faith Baptist Church.
